I love my 13.3" MacBook Air, but haven't been so happy with the performance. So when I saw that SSD prices had come down sufficiently, I decided to go SSD. BOY, was THAT the right decision. My MBA screams now, booting so fast from a full shutdown, it's almost like it was just asleep. Launching an app means very little "dock bouncing" and windows that just POP open.

Hard drive replacement in the MacBook Air isn't the easiest operation in the world, and though there are many instructional videos on the web, it's not for the faint of heart. Keep in mind as well, it DOES void your warranty, but since my MBA is a first generation that I wasn't using very much, I didn't feel the pressure.

Great disc. Excellent performance, budget price.
