First, this drive is very fast and performs great. If I was just rating it on the electronics it would easily get 5 stars, since it is the best performance for its price. However, the device itself has what I think is a major design flaw. The slide that goes over the USB plug becomes far too loose after one day of use. It came rather loose out of the box, but now there is no resistance when opening it and there is absolutely no click to lock it in place in either the open or closed position, and it has only been a few days. If you put it in your pocket, it is pretty much guaranteed to open, and it will even slide open when you wear it on a lanyard. I don't think the USB plug is in any danger of breaking off, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a protector on it, and it pokes you all day. For me, that is a deal breaker, and I am willing to settle with a slightly slower drive from another maker to avoid this.
