The write rate of the LaCie FastKey is 10 times faster a 2.0 usb!
I purchased this after buying the ADATA 3.0 usb flash drive (16 GB - AS102-16G-RGY and the 32 GB - AS102-32G-CGY) because the write speed on the ADATA did not perform up to my expectations.
Test results: transfer 1,016 *.jpg picture files - 3.67 GB
LaCie FastKey 3.0 usb PN: 130978 - 1 minute, 35 seconds
ADATA 3.0 usb 32 GB, PN: AS102-32G - 7 minutes, 17 seconds
LaCie MosKeyto 2.0 usb 16 gb PN: 130983 - 15 minutes, 28 seconds
More expensive, but worth it if you want or need the speed.
(Note: you need a something to plug this into to get this performance - will not work well if you just use a usb 2.0 port. I have a Western Digital PCIe 3.0 card - Model: WDBFNJ0000NNC-WASN; PN: WDBFNJ0000NNC-00 which was easy to install and highly recommended.)
