This thing is FAST. The SU9300 is no wimpy Atom - and it's dual-core. Installing XBMC was a breeze once I shoehorned a live copy on a USB stick. Video playback with surround sound is flawless - and uses under 30% CPU: ION2 rocks. From power-on to XBMC UI in about 10 sec off 16GB Kingston SSDnow. I shoved 4GB of memory in - what a waste (but of only $20 - memory is cheap!); it never uses more than 1GB. I am also using this as a house fileserver with Roswell R2-JBOD box and a couple of 1TB drives.

It does run noticeably warm, if you put your hand over the top vents, but no problems at all; ventilation seems to be really well designed. Not totally silent, but pretty quiet - cannot hear it from 10 ft away.

Pros: small, fast, quiet, LOADED with ports, wired (Gigabit) and wireless(802.11n).
Cons: not free, does not make coffee.
